+ Thinking about making my LJ friends only again. I know, confusing but this week I found a journal here on LJ with posts of mine (copied) and thing is, those were all locked posts. No idea how it was possible to copy them. The journal got suspended really fast but it still made me angry.
+ Glee was pretty awesome this week but I'm not quite sure what to think of the last 20 seconds. Artie, Kurt, Puck and Quinn are still my favorites (ETA: And Sue, I forgot Sue), I can't stand Rachel and want her to go away, Mercedes > Rachel. The end.
+ Modern Family wasn't that great this week or maybe I wasn't paying attention? Idk, last weeks episode was so much better.
+ Movies I watched this week: Post Grad (boring, not that great, Zach Gilford/Alexis Bledel were both really cute though), The Open Road (I thought Justin did okay but he could have done better. Liked the young actress but the movie was just bad), Brothers (strong performance by all three actors, great movie)

Title: Caravaggio
Author: Danielle
Rating: M
Word Count: 6850
Genre Drama, AU, AH

Short summary: Bella's parents have commissioned a painted to be done of her by a one Edward Cullen. Edward, though, is too suave for his own good and its not long before he's trying to talk Bella right out of her own clothes.
Any warnings: The rating could change in the future.

Tom Felton, the villianous Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, can't avoid it.

All anyone wants to know about these days is what was it was like to work with Robert Pattinson when he played Cedric Diggory in two Potter flicks.

"Obviously, we met a few times and had the old chat, but I don't recall going that deep with him," Felton admits from New York City, where he's promoting the DVD release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. "He was tremendously professional on-set and a great laugh."

But best of all, Felton says, Pattinson's Twilight success is "proof that there's life after Harry Potter."

As we all know, however, we haven't seen the last of Hogwarts. There are still two more movies to go in the series. Number seven is in the can with about six months of filming to go on the last.

Felton is quick to quash rumors that they'd end on a more adult note with scenes featuring—ready for this?—a naked Daniel Radcliffe.

"I read that the other day, and I was like, 'What the hell is that about?' " Felton said. "I haven't seen Dan walking around naked—not on the set anyway. The changing room is a different thing—I'm joking. No, I hadn't heard anything of it. Dan hasn't mentioned it."

But the final wrap party definitely will be like no other. "In previous years, we've had kind of timid parties...We were all kind of 13 years old," Felton said. "Finally we can have a decent party! I'm pretty sure Dan put it in his contract."

Harry Potter with a lampshade on his head? Let's hope someone posts those pics on Twitter.

Robert Pattinson: Unavoidable, Impossible to dislike

By Mariane Morisawa (Translation by ViviLit)

"New Moon", the second part of the saga "Twilight", hits theaters around the world on Friday (20). You may think: "Forget it, this is for teenagers". But you will not be able to escape the wave that will sweep the planet. And I suspect - actually, I know - that a lot of women (at their 20', 30', 40's ...) love the series written by Stephenie Meyer. Plus, they love Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays the vampire Edward Cullen.

I did not understand why so much confusion, until I watched, way later than most, the first film (about two months ago). As a movie, "Twilight" is really bad. Neither the special effects and makeup are good, something serious in a production about vampires. But it was easy to understand why the fever. Edward Cullen is a romantic vampire, without that extreme self-confidence that these beings often have. He falls for awkward teen Bella (the equally awkward Kristen Stewart). He really fears, however, not being able to resist his impulses and hurt her. Worse, he fears that she is hurt by any of the other vampires. The parallel between blood and sex is explicit here. But this makes him a dream lover of any teenager.

That's not all. Everyone, especially those of males, may speak ill of Robert Pattinson. 'He does not take a bath'. 'He looks like a drunk'. The truth is, however, that it has been a long time, probably since Leonardo DiCaprio, that did not appear a guy with such a hearthrob vibe. And what's wrong with that? The film industry needs it. Robert Pattinson sell. Hence the cover of Vanity Fair, a magazine that is far from being for teenagers. Hence the cover of Entertainment Weekly, the bible of the entertainment.

Intrigued, I began to look for and read the interviews of the 2 years old boy. And you know what? You cannot NOT like Robert Pattinson. First, let's agree that the boy is a little young (certainly too young for my taste) but really handsome - take a look at the photoshoot made by Bruce Weber for Vanity Fair and disagree if you can.

Second, he exudes great sincerity and no arrogance, so typical of youngsters who start to be successful. On the contrary, he does not take itself seriously, making fun of himself. "It sounds silly, but in many ways my hair is 75% of my performance," he told Entertainment Weekly that hit newsstands in the U.S. last Friday (13). Other than that, thinks that he is to blame, for not coping well with the harassment - that is so intense that he can not even leave the hotel room. "I'm not the kind of guy fit to be on a movie franchise. I don't like crowds" said to Vanity Fair.

And he seems to want to be a real actor. Such that he has chosen more alternative projects, like the western directed by actress Madeleine Stowe ( "Unbound Captives") and a romantic drama with Emilie de Ravin ( "Remember Me"). For all that, you can say with ease that he has far more qualities that 90% of 23 years actors out there. So, leave the boy alone.

--------

Note from ViviLit: Marie Claire is a magazine that targets an audience of women around 30, 40 years old here in Brazil, hence the "too young" talk... Since I am still at my 20's, I totes think that he's perfect for me :).

Oh, and since I did not write the article, refrain from flames, 'k? If you don't agree with anything... Well, I just don't care, I only care about Robert and that she says nice things about him.

And finally, since english is not my first language, sorry about any mistake (It's fine to correct me though, I'm always open to learn!)

(laughing) You have no idea how hard it is sometimes. (laughing) I'm joking. Yeah, I do, we got chased last night. (laughing) It was my first time and it was great, uh... (laughing) It was also one of the weirdest...I dunno. LA is just crazy back there it's nice to be in a place where... I think LA tries to be cool (mumbles) and it thinks it's cooler than here. (laughing) But that's why it's nice going to a place I guess where it's actually cool and people are cool, and not sold out. And they're all in great clothes, I like the clothes, When I was younger I used to do that, and that's why I insist on having my jacket for Portland. And my mum and my dad, used to try and find me stuff to wear. (laughing) (and then hestarts talking about the song he's about to sing)

Lucky lady Anna Kendrick has had the opportunity to work with today's hottest hunks Robert Pattinson and George Clooney. It's only natural for a gal who has seen her fair share of hysteria surrounding these two heartthrobs to compare the intensity of female adoration.

The up and coming star told Reel Empire "From what I've seen they get different sides of it [attention]. Rob gets a lot of screaming and a lot of prying and a lot of really, really intense praise, which doesn't necessarily feel good when it's coming from this hysterical place. "

Anna went on to say, "Then I see people come to George and because he's so established, some people try [to] trick him into saying something. And that's interesting to watch him sidestep that stuff so gracefully and never lose his cool. I don't know how he does that."

When asked who has more hysteria surrounding them, the answer was no surprise- Rob Pattinson!

"I've never seen anything like it. Yesterday, people were asking me [at the Up in the Air premiere with Clooney], 'Could you believe how crazy this premiere is?' and I was like, you ain't seen nothing."

The Rob-mania has even caused the young starlet to fear for our favorite vamp's safety!

At Comic Con "We were in small theaters, and there were no barriers. I was just thinking, they're feet away, and he's standing right next to me. This kid is going to lose an eye right next to me."

I'm not embarrassed to admit that should I see Rob Pattinson I will, without hesitation, start screaming hysterically. Sadly, I will morph into a twelve year old girl and will undoubtedly end up in jail on charges of disturbing the peace. I won't be able to help it- he's just so darn cute!

As for Anna- she's just as adorable. Up in the Air looks good and a perfect film to see with family over the upcoming holidays. And can you believe a Twilight alum has Oscar buzz so soon?!
